Introduction
I really don't have a whole lot to post here. Really, I'm just putting this out here to see if I can get any feedback. I'm an undergrad student working as a summer intern and my job is to modify UT2003 to create a training scenario.
What I'm Trying to Do
Basically, I'm trying to create some NPCs that the player will have to walk up to and interact with to advance in the level. So if anyone has some helpful hints on how I might want to go about doing this, that'd be awesome.
I'm new to UnrealScript (well, I've been learning it for about two weeks, now) and since I'm working for acadamia (and not industry) we don't have a developer's license or anything so I'm just working with the retail version of the game. I've already mucked around with some code (got a third person camera which functions, for example (not that silly "behindview 1" from the console)) so I've got some basic ideas of how things work, I'm just not sure what the best way to create the NPCs will be.
Yup.
So yeah.. If you have any helpful hints or can direct me to some resources, I'll be greatly appreciative.
